Haboobs!
It's been a haboob kind of March, with wind and dust so thick that the air became toxic and highways were shut down. Our plants started to bloom, only to be hit by freezing weather, including hail and a little snow. Tatooine to Hoth. Typical NM Spring in the high desert. We're now in the phase where the temperature climbs to the high 70s in the afternoon and plummets to the 30s overnight. Maybe we've had our last false Spring.
March Madness
I created NCAA brackets this year for fun. For a day and a half, one of my ESPN men's brackets was ranked 1st out of 24 million (it's now sitting in 11K territory). I have photo evidence! My women's bracket was also ranked number 1 for a short time. And I'm leading a friend's bracket. I should have bought lottery tickets, I guess.
